In the heart of Lyon, the Cordeliers district is an active neighborhood both day and night. Central district in the Presqu’île, close to the emblematic Place de la bourse, but also of all shops, among famous names or small independent shops.
From the Cordeliers you can walk in all the city, the Terreaux are just a few steps away, Bellecour is a little further away, and why not cross the Rhône to make a jump to the Halles Paul Bocuse, or the Saône to find you in the old town. Il is the central district of Lyon for sure! The famous market “St Antoine” is 2 steps away, but also many restaurants, especially rue du Palais Grillet.
